Slow Food Eugene One Field Meal
Welcome to our annual One Field Meal. We are proud to present this years venue and chef.
The dinner will be held at Agrarian Ales, a farmhouse brewery on 20 acres located north of Coburg. At Agrarian they grow organic hops, harvest them by hand, and brew on site. Our dinner will feature vegetables grown from neighboring Crossroads Farm. Both farms are owned by the Tilley family.
We are excited to have Clive Wanstall as our chef. You may be familiar with Clive as the Culinary Instructor of the LCC Culinary Arts Program. He also lends his experience, direction and students each year to bring together the annual Whiteaker Thanksgiving Dinner.
Ben Tilley of Agrarian Ales will be our pig roaster cooking underground in a traditional earthen oven. The pig will be wrapped in hops and cooked in the ground for approximately 24 hours. He will also collaborate with Red Wagon Creamery on a beer flavored ice cream to compliment our Pear Verrine dessert.
We'll be selling wine from Benton Lane Winery and beer crafted by Agrarian Ales. The Whiskey Chasers will entertain us with bluegrass and old country tunes. You're invited to take the farm tour before dinner.
Bring an appetite, sensible shoes, your own personal serving ware, and a smile in your heart. Funds raised from this event will benefit local organizations including the School Garden Project and Farm to School Program.
