Carrie Tree & Keith Ellis - Bara Menyn - Cardigan
Singer-songwriter Carrie Tree & multi-instrumentalist Keith Ellis team up to perform songs from Carrie's new album 'The Canoe' accompanying themselves with voice, guitar, piano & clarinet. They create a relaxed intimate setting.
Traveling alongside them is the question 'What does the river say?'
Both being touched by many environmental and social issues of our times they hold an intention to bring a deeper awareness about the local rivers, waterways and subtle ecosystems of both the land and of the rivers within ourselves.
To help explore this question, guest speaker and writer Jack Smiley Wild will be sharing his and passion and knowledge of the local river Teifi.
£10 advanced booking. £12 on the door Pre-booked physical Tickets also available at Bara Menyn Bakehouse.

MORE ABOUT CARRIE & THE ALBUM:
With a troubadour spirit, Brighton based singer-songwriter Carrie Tree has spent much of her life traveling the world with her music, stirring and softening hearts along the way.
With an uncanny ability to reach into the traditions of the lands she visits, she touches a place deep inside the hearts of her listeners wherever she performs.
Carrie has been a known name in the UKs grassroots scene for many years and has toured in countless retreats, festivals and concerts across the world. She has played regularly at UK festivals such as Cambridge Folk Festival, Secret Garden and Glastonbury Festival, where she performed on the 2000+ capacity Williams Green stage.
She has collaborated live and in the studio with the likes of Damien Rice, Carly Simon, Fink, Albert Mazibuko (Ladysmith Black Mambazo), Rumer, Martha Tilston and Andy Barlow of Lamb. Carrie featured as the main vocalist on Andy Barlows album 'Leap and the net will appear', and performed with him live on Dermot O'Leary's BBC2 show to 1.6 million listeners.
Carrie's third studio album 'The Canoe' was completed in Iceland and released this Spring. The listener is drawn into her world of mystical storytelling and sublime melody through the production and arrangements of Markus Sieber (known for his ambient acoustic recordings as Aukai).
