Electro Oxidation Treatment for Recycle & Reuse of Flow Back and Produced Water
ABSTRACT:
Advances in electronics and materials technology have enabled fundamental changes in electro- oxidization reactor designs, significantly improving their performance, safety, and enabling dramatic treating cost reductions. Theoretical basis and field results are presented demonstrating in-situ generation of multiple oxidants using simply electricity and produced water without addition of hazardous reagents or oilfield chemicals. These oxidants are shown to be extremely effective biocides for bacteria disinfection, electrochemical precipitation is shown to reduce the scaling tendencies of the treated water for fracture treatment and water recycle or water injection.

Mr. Jakhete has developed hyper oxidation water treatment system for the Oil and Gas industry and various other waste water industries. He holds B.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineer and Naval Architect. Mr. Jakhete has received numerous US and International patents and pending patents on the core proprietary technology for water treatment processes.
