Holy Angels Fall 2019 Clubs
AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS
Fall 2019 SESSION
6 WEEKS

*Please send in a change in dismissal form every time that your child stays after school for a club.*
Around the World: PK-1 Mrs. Pagano
Grab your passports and get ready to embark on an exciting adventure around the world! Students will visit several countries and learn about the cultures of each through stories, crafts, games and snacks. *Please note: Students in this club do not need to bring a weekly snack as one will be provided. Please make Mrs. Pagano aware if your child has a food allergy.
Maximum registration: 12 students
Thursdays (2:45-3:45):
9/19, 9/26, 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, & 10/24
Fall Harvest/Farm Club: PK-1 Mrs. Rossi
Students will make snacks, create projects and play games based on a fall harvest/farm theme.
Maximum registration: 12 students
Wednesdays (2:45-3:45):
9/18, 9/25, 10/2, 10/9,10/16, & 10/23
Dr. Seuss Club: K-2 Mrs. Ward
Students will listen to a Dr. Seuss book each week. The children will complete an activity that reinforces the skill in the book (rhyming, antonyms, blending, etc).

Tuesdays (2:45-3:45):
9/17, 9/24, 10/1, 10/8, 10/22, & 10/29
Games Galore: 2-4 Mrs. Keegan
Students will learn teamwork, strategic thinking, and good sportsmanship as they play cooperative games. Each student will make his/her own game to take home at the completion of the session.

Art Club: 2-5 Mrs. Rahner
Art club members will have fun creating special projects involving clay and other fun materials. Their artwork may be displayed in the community or school. Art club members will be encouraged to enter art contests.

Mondays (2:45-3:45):
9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/21, & 10/28
Glee Club: 3-8 Mrs. Brennan
The students will learn and perform music for the Christmas and Spring Concert. Also, to create a beautiful chorus it would be wonderful if the students could plan on being a part of Glee throughout the whole year. The time of rehearsal would change to recess once the rehearsals for the Spring Show begins.

Debate Club: 6-8 Mrs. Daly
Students will develop their research skills as they prepare for debate each week on a real-life issue. Students will then develop skills needed to articulate an argument, dismantle the opposing side's argument, as well as how to gracefully respond when their argument is disproved.
Maximum registration: 12 students
Wednesdays: (2:45-4:00):
9/18, 9/25, 10/2, 10/9,10/16, & 10/23
Book Club: 6-8 Miss. Mitchell
The club will be an opportunity for the older students to read a book for pleasure together and give them the opportunity to discuss it in a fun, relaxed environment. Miss Mitchell will moderate discussions. when we finish the novel, we will complete a final project based on the book!
