ABSERD 2019: Disterbia, an ABESRD-o-ween
ABSERD is an officially sanctioned Burning Man Regional Decompression.
Our theme this year is Disterbia, an ABESRD-o-ween.
Come strut your mad science, your cabinet of curiosities, your comically grotesque, or whatever your bizarre fancy.
The primary goal of ABSERD is to create a space where Local Artists and Playa Projects can be showcased side by side.
We strive to create a place of collaboration, acceptance and respect that will feature experimental Art and Music in a community built atmosphere that celebrates the 10 principles of Burning Man.
There are no vendors, there is nothing to buy on site. We are a Gifting Culture and observe that, in this space, there is no commodification.
You are required to bring everything you will need to survive for the entire duration of your stay. Plan and pack accordingly.
As with all Burning Man events, this will be an LNT (Leave No Trace) environment. If you pack it in, you pack it out. That means EVERYTHING that you bring, including: fire pit ash, grey water, tutus, speedos and any MOOP (matter out of place) in or around your camp, is your responsibility to remove from the event site.

This event is Produced by Fort Timmy Inc. Neither Burning Man or Black Rock City LLC is a producer or organizer of the event, and Burning Man and Black Rock LLC accept no liability arising out of or in connection to the event. This is an all ages event. Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. Children under the age of 12 are free. All Participants must follow all applicable State and Federal Laws. Any and all refunds are subject to the discretion of the Events Producers.
