this very first presentation of the concept of Hive Dream is like a single drop of honey on the tongue, just a taste of the spoonful to come. please join us for a variety-show style evening, featuring acts from the full-length production, which will debut in late September.

our Hive Dream buzzes at a fever pitch. dripping golden, industrious, fortifying. our Hive Dream is a collaboration of four performance artists, Lara Paxton, Tanya Gagne, Jill Marissa, and Sara Sparrow. featuring a lazy summer honeycomb, trapeze, spinning carpets, handbalancing, song, dance, and as unpredictable as shivering flight, our show is a circus spectacle, an absurdist daydream, a lazy day in a meadow, and a humming hive of surrealist wonder. blurring lines between circus, performance art, musical theater, individual and group mind, it is a gentle and energizing creation like no other.
