The Brother Brothers (NY)
Identical twins Adam and David Moss are bringing folk traditions to a new generation via stunning instrumental virtuosity, heartfelt lyricism, and yes, sibling harmonies so natural they seem to blend into a single, beautiful voice. Based in Brooklyn, New York, the Brother Brothers mine and channel diverse voices from the American songbook, from Townes Van Zandt to the Everly Brothers to folk revivalists such as the Kingston Trio on their sublime debut album, Some People I Know (2018). Fans of the pristine perfection of the Milk Carton Kids will swoon, as did none other than Sarah Jarosz, who raved that these young men produce some of the greatest family harmonies ever made.

Rosemary Lawton (NL)
Rosemary Lawton is helping to preserve Newfoundland's rich heritage by collecting, recording, and performing Newfoundland traditional music. Her music is a hybrid of both classical and traditional genres, with underlying hints of her  classical training infusing her brilliant fiddle arrangements and original tunes. Adding to all that, her voice is reminiscent of the high soprano Celtic singing of Ireland.
