VERTICAL BARRE is a total body conditioning philosophy combining Corrective Dance Exercises, Ballet Barre, Pilates Ped-o-pull, Pole, & Aerial. The Vertical Barre repertoire will be branching out from the Vertical Foundation core to focus on the periphery; specifically: shoulders, hips, & ankles with 60+ functional barre exercises on the pole & aerial apparatus. Preparing pole & aerial athletes to safely achieve flexibility, strength, & artistry.
The Vertical Foundation or Pole-ates: is the required pre-requisite for this course.
Vertical Art Athletics Teacher Training Curriculum. Vertical Art Athletics is your ultimate pole & aerial cross-training resource for preventing injury and enhancing pole performance.
The course series is designed to help you optimize training and provide tools to empower you as a teacher and studio owner.
Each course in the Vertical Art Athletics Curriculum is compiled of 2 days (16 hours) of training, ACE accredited for 1.6 CEUs, and recognized by the Pole Safe Federation. Course work includes functional pole/aerial anatomy education, biomechanical watch-points, teaching techniques, and practical training of the pole/aerial cross-training exercises. Knowledge that is highly recommended not only for your pole & aerial team, but for your entire fitness staff. The practical component of the curriculum can be catered to pole, aerial apparatus, or both; per your preference to meet the needs of your staff and equipment availability. The Vertical Foundation is the pre-requisite course that is essential prior to taking any other courses in the Vertical Art Athletics Series.
