The 48 Hour Strip Project: Part Queertro!
The 48 Hour Strip Project returns for Pride weekend with PART QUEERTRO!!
Bear witness to the splendor that is The 48 Hour Strip Project, Nashville's premiere spitfire burlesque weekender, benefiting Turnip Green Creative Reuse!
The rules for the trashiest pageant ever are simple: each of the fabulous burlesque performers selected to participate is assigned a random song and given 48 hours to create an entirely new act, along with a costume that is at least 70% composed of materials from Turnip Green Creative Reuse or Goodwill. 6 performers will go in, but only one will come out the crown champeen of hot-glueing together sparkly trash, for which they will win a crown composed entirely of sparkly trash. The winner is selected via audience vote, with witty input provided by a panel of judges and experts in trashglueology. Mark your calendars and get ready to get crafty!
All proceeds for this show will be donated directly to Turnip Green Creative Reuse!
