CAC Parent Training: Regional Center Services, Eligibility & IPPs
The California Autism Center has partnered with Disability Rights California to bring you our next parent training.
This course will mainly cater to parents and caregivers of children 5 years and up, but will touch on some early intervention timelines and basics as well.
The training will cover:
* Different types of Regional Center services that are offered to you and your family (such as respite care, transportation, physical therapy, employment assistance, speech therapy, community integration services & many more)
* Individual Program Plan (IPP) rights as a parent and client
* Eligibility and Notice of Action (NOA) if denied services
We apologize, but childcare will not be provided for this event. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided, but feel free to bring your own dinner to enjoy during the presentation as well.
