Three Sisters by Anton Chekhov
Southeastern Theatre presents Anton Chekhov's classic Three Sister directed by guest artist Clarence Gilyard. We are excited to bring Mr. Gilyard to our campus to share his talents. He is an actor, director, and professor best known by the public for his roles on Matlock (1986), Walker, Texas Ranger (1993), Die Hard (1988),and Top Gun (1986).
Chekhov's play is about a trio of sisters - Olga, Masha, and Irina and their brother Andrey. With the recent death of their father Colonel Prozorov, they await a return to Moscow where the "good life" can begin again. Chekhov's 'Three Sisters'is a universal story of love and loss on a collision course of envisoned dreams and frustrated hopes.
