Agros International ~ Tierras de Vida 2008
** REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT IS CLOSED **
Tierras de Vida ~ Invest. Empower. Restore. Saturday, November 8, 2008 6:00 - 9:00 PM
Agros International invites you to a special evening event, Tierras de Vida (Lands of Life). Come hear how you can invest in the transformation of rural poor families across Latin America, and learn how Agros empowers these families to literally work their way out of poverty, restoring hope and opportunity for generations to come.
By using long-term loans for land, agriculture business training, and sustainable development efforts, Agros enables rural communities to work their way out of extreme poverty. With 36 village development projects across Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras and Chiapas (Mexico), this annual fundraising event is designed to raise the support needed for 9 new villages waiting to begin a new future of land, hope, and life.
Discover Agros through speakers, video and special presentations, and learn how you can be part of this transformative work! Keynote speaker: Tim Hanstad/RDI (Rural Development Institute) President and CEO. $65 per person - includes reception and dinner, each with wine. Tickets sold out quickly in 2007 so we encourage you not to postpone your ticket purchase!
Host a table of 10 sharing Agros with friends, family or business associates. $1000 Contact Doug Haley for more details - dough@agros.org or 206-528-1066.
