Leading and Following: Non-verbal Communication for D/s
In this interactive class we borrow leading and following techniques from partnered dance and apply it to D/s. No dance understanding is required. No partner is required.
Using simple concentration and dance techniques, we explore the internal mind/body connection for Dominants and submissives, non-verbal communication between the leader and follower, and how this works in 24/7, scenes, and more.
Comfortable shoes are suggested because we will stand and walk for much of class. (Those with mobility issues easily accommodated.)
INSTRUCTOR:
Alexandria, aka Peppermint Furiosa, creator of Click Your Heels, is a body-positive, leather, poly, queer femme-nomenon. For 20 years shes been teaching, creating, performing, and exploring all sorts of movement, focused on improvisation. You can see her experimental erotic performance work on stage at The White Horse and take her weekly classes at dance studios and gyms all over the Bay Area. Whether teaching couples at home or hundreds in a nightclub, she believes the joy of dance is a natural human experience for everyone.

Please note that the Wicked Grounds Annex space at 293 8th St is ADA friendly once upstairs, but stairs are the only means of ingress and egress to the Wicked Grounds Annex space. If you have any questions, please message the event organizers and we will do our best to answer them!
