Are you trying to be more peaceful in your life? Is conflict a problem in your community or your relationships? Do you wish you understood how you acted in conflict better? Do you want to learn about how to approach conflict in a way that helps everyone get what they want and need? This workshop is for you!
Facilitators Erricka Bridgeford and Rebecca Snyder will lead you in discussions and activities that will help you learn how to address conflict better in your life, your family, your workplace, and your community (and have some fun along the way).
The workshop is two hours long (from 10AM-noon) and you should come prepared to talk and move around (though we can accommodate mobility impairments - just let us know). Space is limited, so if you register but aren't able to come, please let us know (and if you show up after the start time, we may need to give your space away).
This training is part of our 2019 Community Day! After the workshop, feel free to get some information about our work to reduce the use of courts, prisons, and police to address conflicts. There will also be a lunch where you can meet our Executive Director and learn more about our work, a second community workshop (if you can't make this one), and a panel discussion on reducing incarceration in Baltimore. Plus sno balls for sale! Check out our general event page at communitymediation.org for more information!
