Hofesh Shechter Company's Summer Intensive
We invite you to join us for a 5-day intensive course where you will primarily explore rich repertoire from our current touring work Grand Finale. Through the course of the week, we aim to introduce you to the strength, flow and authenticity that permeates Hofesh's work.
Led by Bruno Guillore, our Associate Artistic Director, the Intensive is an ideal opportunity to explore in depth, the fundamental principles of Hofesh's distinct dance vocabulary, while getting a taste of the physical training and specific imagery behind the movement. The company's Artistic Director, Hofesh Shechter will join you on Friday to help delve further into the core qualities of his individual movement style.
The course focuses on feedback throughout class, improvisation and exploration of past and current repertoire under the guidance of our experienced company dancers.
This Intensive will have two sessions: The Experienced session is open to a maximum of 25 professional dancers, teachers and dance students on vocational courses who have taken an Intensive with us in the past and are looking to enrich their practice and training.*
Alternatively, the New session is open to a maximum of 25 people who are new to Hofesh's work, but would like to explore dance movement and understand more about the company's approach to it.

We deliberately keep the numbers of our Intensives low in order to ensure detailed feedback as you delve into the working style of the company.

Fee: £250
*In order to qualify for the Experienced session, please email your full name and which Intensive you have attended previously to takepart@hofesh.co.uk BEFORE you book into that session.

We regret that Hofesh Shechter Company cannot make any refunds. Please make sure that you can make the dates and have organised any necessary visas before committing to this course. If travelling from overseas, unfortunately we are unable to offer assistance with accommodation or visas.
