Bakersfield Mist
"Bakersfield Mist" is a two person play about a woman (played by Sally O'Quinn) who buys a thrift store painting, then realizes it just might be a genuine Jackson Pollock, worth millions. She invites a noted art appraiser (played by Ken Bledsoe) to her home in a Bakersfield, California trailer park, hoping he will declare it authentic. Although the story has some very funny moments, the plot also reveals a lot about both characters and their past, including some tragedy, violence and heartbreak. This show covers controversial subject matter and has some intense moments as the two interact.
