Hazelsaurus Rex & Everything Gold May Stay Public Sale

We're excited to bring you two new creations. One is a variant of a fan favorite stout - HAZELSAURUS REX, and the other is a brand new barrel-aged sour - EVERYTHING GOLD MAY STAY.
HAZELSAURUS REX bottles are $24 / 22oz + tax & BPT fee, with a limit of (4) bottles. EVERYTHING GOLD MAY STAY bottles are $16 / 375ml + tax & BPT fee, with a limit of (6) bottles.

HAZELSAURUS REX
Imperial Stout with Coffee, Vanilla & Hazelnuts
14% ABV
A massive Imperial Stout, with a long delicious flavor tail of rich hazelnut and a dose of coffee that adds complexity. Hefty in both mouthfeel and ABV, with a smooth sippability and flavors that linger on the palate.

Golden Flanders Style Ale aged with Raspberries in Oak Barrels
7% ABV
This is a collaboration that has been a long time in the making. Its a reunion of two brewers - Winslow from Pure Project and David from Fruition - who met at age 13, went to high school together, attended UC Santa Cruz together, lived together for 5 years, and worked together at Boulder Creek Brewing at the beginning of their brewing careers.
In 2010, the two made a batch of a Flanders Style Ale, and each brewer kept the mixed fermentation organisms alive for use on future beers. Winslow went on to create our GABF medal-winning Roes Red (Flanders Style Red Ale) with this culture. When the brewers came together to create this collab, they also reunited their long-separated sour bugs to produce a delicious new concoction.
Built on a rustic grain bill of Admiral Pils, wheat, and oats, with added Golden, Double Gold, and Red Raspberries from Watsonville near Fruitions new production facility. This style of sour ale is typically one part of a traditional Brown Flanders style, which more commonly goes on to be blended with fresh brown beer. We kept the sour beer separate, aged it for about a year in oak barrels, and are excited to release it just in time for Fruitions grand opening.
Starting with a very earthy and raspberry-forward nose, this beer evolves on the palate with a bright sourness, abundant flavors of tart raspberry, and finishes with light barrel notes over a well carbonated body with a full mouthfeel.
Additionally, we will be selling wheels of our first ever Cheese Collaboration with this release! Yep, we have teamed up with the amazing folks over at Jasper Hill Creamery in Vermont (Jasper Hill Farm) to create a special variation of their legendary Willoughby Cheese. This washed-rind cheese was washed in Everything Gold May Stay and there will be very limited 8oz wheels available.

BOTTLE RELEASE TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Starting Thursday, 5/2/19 at 10am PDT, you will be able to purchase tickets good for up to 4 bottles of HAZELSAURUS REX, up to 6 bottles of EVERYTHING GOLD MAY STAY, and up to 4 wheels of WILLOUGHBY CHEESE. This sale will end Sunday, 5/5/19 at 11:59pm, or when bottles have sold out.
You or your proxy (named at checkout) will be able to pick up bottles at Pure Project (9030 Kenamar Dr. #308 San Diego, CA 92121) between noon on Saturday 5/11/2019 through 8pm on Sunday 5/19/2019.
Unfortunately, no exceptions can be made to either the bottle limit or the pick-up window.
Must be 21 to purchase/pickup and all PROXIES must also be over 21 and the ID must match the name added as proxy at checkout.
**Any bottle not claimed by 5/19/2019 will be forfeit, so please only order if you are sure you can claim your bottles within the pickup window**

HOW TO CLAIM YOUR BOTTLES:
To claim your bottles, you or your proxy will need to show ID proving that you are (1) both over 21 years of age and that (2) the name on the ticket order matches your ID. Again, please only purchase tickets if you are 100% sure that you can pick up the bottles within the pickup window stated multiple times above. There are no exceptions.
Pure Project WILL NOT ship bottles. The bottles must be claimed from the Pure Project tap room (9030 Kenamar Dr. #308 San Diego, CA 92121) within the pickup window of Saturday 5/11/2019 through 8pm on Sunday 5/19/2019. NO REFUNDS: Due to demand for bottles, Pure Project will not issue refunds. All sales are final. That said, we are big on customer service, so should you not be fully satisfied with a bottle, simply email bottles@purebrewing.org and let us know.
RELEASE PARTY DETAILS:
The tickets you are purchasing will admit you to a release party to claim your bottles. The date of the party is Saturday 5/11/2019 from noon-10 pm in the tap room at Pure Project.
