Get an in depth course on red carpet glam hairstyling by the queen of styling Cate "Miss Ruby" Torrealba. As one of LA's leading stylists, she has styled clients for every one Hollywood's major events, including the Oscars, Grammys, SAG Awards, Golden Globes, Emmys, and many more!

In the three hour demo portion of class, Cate will cover three different retro inspired styles that can be modernized and modified to fit any client attending a special occasion. She will cover setting techniques, tools, product knowledge, and proper styling techniques. All students will receive a signed certificate upon completion as well as a goodie bag filled with products.

For the first time ever Cate will also be hosting a highly anticipated and requested hands on portion after the demo has ended, where students can work on a model/mannequin or work on their own hair. Models are not allowed to attend the demo portion unless they purchase a ticket for the class. All models must arrive at 3pm, with freshly washed and 100% dry hair. Hands on students must provide their own models/mannequins and bring the following tools listed below:

1/2 inch curling iron
3/4 inch curling iron
1 inch curling iron
Fine tooth tail comb
Boar bristle brush & teasing brush
Pin curl clips & duckbill clips
Blowdryer with heat & speed settings

The demo will be held from 11am - 2pm, break for one hour before hands on for independent lunch time, Hands On will be held from 3pm -5pm. TICKETS FOR THE HANDS ON PORTION ARE EXTREMELY LIMITED SO THAT EACH STUDENT HAS INDIVIDUAL ATTENTION. They will sell out so please don't wait!
