FLOT jr is proud to announce Disney's The Lion King Experience Kids!!
There is 1, one week long session available; June 17 - 21, 2019.
This particular program contract states participants must be school aged children K-9th grade only.
Camp hours are Monday-Friday 10am-4pm at Pioneer Park Theater.
Only 30 slots per session are available so be sure to lock in your kid's spot by completing your registration with the Brown Paper Tickets link and filling out a registration form giving us a profile for your camper!
Tuition is $350 per camper. Sibling discount for multiple kids enrolled, $100 off per additional camper. Two Claudia Lively Youth Theatre Scholarships for full tuition available with essay submitted by May 15th. Discounts and Financial Aide requests considered on individual basis. Your registration includes an immersive educational fine arts camp experience, ending in a free performance of The Lion King Kids, FLOT jr T-shirt, and a daily provided snack.
Each day has 6 hours of direction, activities, and rehearsals run by three experienced camp Directors, Christina Ried, Sarah Hulac and Eileen Gillette. Acting, singing, and dancing will be taught over the course of the week, following a Disney curriculum and all students are expected to participate fully every day for the length of camp. There are breaks planned for lunch around 12pm (food not provided) and a camp provided snack break around 2pm. Please send lunch, additional snacks and water they may need throughout the day. Kids should dress in clothes and shoes they can be comfortable in for movement daily. Photographs may be taken of camp during the week and the shows, so your registration includes a photo release clause.
The camp experience culminates in a 30 minute performance of The Lion King Kids on each Friday. Camp instruction is done around 4pm, there will be a dinner break 4-5pm with no food provided so plan accordingly. Kids may leave camp but must be back for preshow prep no later than 5pm. Kids will need to be in their FLOT jr Camp t-shirt, have additional assigned costume pieces, makeup and props. The free show for families and the public will begin at 6pm. There will be a short clean up/strike to be done by 7pm.
No Refunds without extenuating circumstances.
One Week Notice of Camp Cancellation
Week 1 registration must exceed 17 participants by June 9th or families will be notified for a refund.
