TRANSFORMATION - A Fine Dining Experience with Rootdown LA
You are invited to a very special night!
Join us for a five-course-dinner with wine pairing prepared by our Culinary Trainees.
Our youth will cook alongside French Chef Cyril Kabaoglu to provide a fine dining experience, showcasing a real farm-to-table approach as they elevate produce grown locally at our South LA micro-farm.
Our theme this year is TRANSFORMATION - we want to honor the transformation and growth that RootDown has experienced over this past year.
The evening will be an intimate (seating is limited to 50!) celebration with cocktails, garden tours, a silent auction, a delectable dinner menu, and an in-depth look at RootDown LA's programs, leaders, youth, and partners.

WHAT WE ARE RAISING FOR:
All proceeds will fund the expansion of our Culinary and Horticultural Youth Trainings, as well as equipment for a commercial kitchen that will allow RootDown LA to expand our youth-led healthy food ventures in South LA.
WHAT'S SPECIAL ABOUT THIS FUNDRAISER:
Last year, RootDown LA was awarded a significant federal grant to take our youth trainings to the next level - but we need to front all of our expenses before the grant money is released! This means that all your donations are "pre-matched" and will go twice as far! Help us reach the grant's full potential!
ABOUT ROOTDOWN LA:
For the past ten years, Root Down LA has focused on building demand and supply of healthy food in South LA. We encourage youth to become leaders through food-driven social ventures in their communities. In fact, many of our alumni start their career pathways into food business and the agriculture sector with a first job experience in our youth trainings and hands-on internships.
