'Embodying the Elemental' explores the 5Rhythms from their Elemental Roots: Earth, Fire, Water, Air & Ether. Unraveling a Map of Elemental Roots is a powerful method of directly connecting to nature to experience the 5Rhythms in how these forces move us & are moved by us.
The 5Rhythms is a moving meditation practice, an improvisational form of dance. This is a map of how energy moves through the body. It shows us the patterns, rhythms and cycles of life. Flowing connects us to our feminine nature. Staccato connects us to our masculine nature. Chaos creates union and integrates these two energies. As a result we find transformation in Lyrical. From this transformative space we are then connected to Stillness. The nature of the stillness dance invites compassion and connection to self, partners and community.

2:15pm Intro to Growing Heart Farm
2:45-5pm 5Rhythms
5:15pm Dinner served in the field
7:11pm Train back to NYC
Getting here: It is an easy train ride from New York City. You can even walk from the train station to the farm. Take the direct t 11:48pm Metro North train from Grand Central to the Harlem Valley Wingdale Station. The train to return to NYC will leave at 7:11pm.
