Visionary! An evening of Cacao, Dance, & Gong
Round 2 of Visionary! Our first event sold out early, so don't wait to buy tickets if you want to join us for this rare and sacred community journey in Corvallis. We'll begin with Cacao ceremony by Eric Jessup (30 minutes), continue to Tribal Ecstatic Dance by Baron von Spirit (55 minutes), and end with Gong Sound Bath by Alan Steinborn (45 minutes).
Odd Fellows Hall, 223 SW 2nd St, Corvallis Doors at 6:45pm. Arrive by 7:15pm to settle in for the opening circle and Cacao ceremony.
$22 (plus small service charge). Tickets by advance purchase only, through Brown Paper Tickets. (No tickets at the door.)
This event is limited to 50 participants.
Bring: --a water bottle and layers of clothing for Dance --a thick yoga mat or blanket, and a pillow for Gong Bath (please, no wide camping mattresses or air mattresses) --Optional: an eye mask or blindfold for the Gong Bath
The dance rhythms will all be inspired by Tribal and Indigenous music. There will be strong beats and bass at the peaks, but this is not an electronic music dance.
No shoes, no booze, no chit chat. This is euphoric meditation. This event is for anyone 16 and older, who can lie still and silent for the hour gong bath.
