SPUNK's seven dancers, with sunshine, storms, laughs and spirit, in a memorable evening of contemporary dance.
SPUNKandCOmpany makes dances from scratch. The company, led by Jillian Grunnah and Tara McCrystal, is composed of seven dancers/choreographers who lend not only their technical skill, but also their creative input and energy to every dance. We are a non-profit company that believes in the human body as a powerful story teller. A blend of traditional and contemporary dance techniques, our dancing is athletic, theatrical and provocative. Often magnifying social issues and human relationships, the company works together to make art that is fresh, vivacious, sometimes deep and always fun.
