Girasoles Summer Flamenco Tour San Juan Island
Savannah Fuentes Flamenco returns to The San Juan Island Grange with Girasoles ( Sunflowers ) summer Flamenco tour.
Artistic Director & dancer Savannah Fuentes returns to San Juan Island for a spectacular presentation of traditional Spanish Flamenco song and dance. This concert will mark the second stop in her 2013 summer tour aptly named Girasoles (Sunflowers), which reflects the joyful warmth that flamenco brings to all people of all ages. Joining Savannah will be acclaimed flamenco cantaor (singer) Jesus Montoya of Seville, Spain and Bulgarian guitarist Roberto (Bobby) de Sofia.
Born in Seattle, WA, bailaora (flamenco dancer) Savannah Fuentes has dedicated over a decade to the art of flamenco. An accomplished performer, she is also the producer of this tour.

Jesus Montoya is a Gypsy Flamenco Singer and Composer from Seville, Spain. His journey into the heart of flamenco began at an early age and he has performed all over the world as a soloist and an accompanist to numerous singers and dancers.
Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, Bobby de Sofia studied under Paca Arroyo of Barcelona and Pedro Viscomi of Seville. He currently resides in Los Angeles and works with flamenco artists of the highest caliber across North America and abroad.
Tickets are limited to 100, which is the perfect number of audience members who, in turn, will help create an intimate environment wherein flamenco thrives. This will be one night dedicated to the passion of Spain, one that celebrates and captivates the essence of flamenco and will be thoroughly enjoyed by the entire family.
