2019 Percussion Day at KPU Saturday, March 30, 2019 Kwantlen Polytechnic University (Langley Campus)
Tickets $20 general admission $10 students and seniors free for KPU students and anyone 10-years-old and younger
Day of Percussion 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Join drum set artist Scott Robertson, KPU's Daniel Tones, Cuban percussion specialist Jack Duncan, and other local artists for a day of workshops and performances that celebrate the art of percussion. This event is open to anyone with an interest in percussion including high-school and post-secondary students, teachers, and percussion enthusiasts of all ages.
Schedule 9:30 a.m. - Doors open 10 a.m. - Drum Set Clinic with Scott Robertson 11 a.m. - Orchestral Snare Drum Clinic with Daniel Tones 12 p.m. - Lunch (off campus: participants are responsible for their own lunch) 1:30 p.m. - Midday Concert featuring percussion students and professionals 3:00 p.m. - Cuban Percussion Clinic with Jack Duncan 4:00 p.m. - Wrap-up and see you next year!
