Richard III
The Boise Bard Players presents Shakespeare's "Richard III" at Mad Swede Brewing Company, March 8th, 9th, 10th, 14th, 15th, and 17th.
"Richard III" is a dark chapter in England's history as the ruthless Richard, Duke of Gloucester, moves to take the throne by any means necessary. Amoral manipulation and political maneuvering pepper the play as Richard turns friends on friends and uncovers the hypocrisy in everyone.
Mad Swede Brewing Company has been specializing in fabulous beers of all styles since 2016. Apart from making great beer, they also host a variety of events from yoga to birds of prey to plays! After "The Winter's Tale" in 2017, Mad Swede has generously welcomed The Boise Bard Players back to perform another Shakespeare play in their brewery.

Each actor in the cast of ten plays multiple parts, adding to the plays' already frenzied pace that The Boise Bard Players revel.
The Boise Bard Players specializes in minimalist, true-to-text productions of Shakespeare's work that exalts the importance of the audience's imaginations. By using stark sets and costumes, The Boise Bard Players' language-heavy story-based approach make each play a rocketing roller coaster from the first word to the final bow. It is the mission of The Boise Bard Players to demystify Shakespeare by making their plays emotionally and economically accessible and appeal to the poet in each of us.
TICKET & WAIT LIST POLICY:
Advance tickets will be available for purchase on Brown Paper Tickets until 1 hour before the performance and will guarantee you a spot until the shows scheduled start time (7:30pm or 3:00pm). Depending on availability, Door tickets can be purchased within an hour of the performance for $12($13.07 w/tax and fees included) through our Square app. If we are at capacity, patrons can be added to the Wait List. If seats are left open at show time, our House Manager/Box Office has the authority to sell empty seats at the Door ticket price to anyone on the Wait List.
