Weigh-ins and After Party: 2:00 PM at 582 Dock Rd,
Moncks Corner, SC 29461(Gilligans on the Tailrace Canal)
Entry fee: $20/person for main competitions pot
$20/person for side pot (optional)
+$10 Yankee Carpetbagger Fee (see Official Rule#10 for those applicable)
Payments must be in by 6:38PM on Friday, March 6th. Contact Heyward Bonner for special circumstances.

Tournament chairman: Heyward Bonner
Official rules:
1.)You may fish anywhere you like
2.)Only American Shad will be scored
3.)You may not start fishing until official sunrise on the day of the tournament (6:38 AM)
4.)Must be back at the weigh-in at Gilligans on the Tailraces parking lot by no later than 2:00 PM
5.)No use of electronics other than VHF, cell phones, and music playing devices
6.)Fishing with rod and reel only (nets used to land reeled-in fish are allowed)
7.)If you do not pay, you do not fish. No exceptions!
Payments preferred via Brown Paper Tickets. Next best option is Venmo at "@Heyward-Bonner". Finally, we may arrange cash payment. Be sure to tell me what the payment is going to (main event, side pot, etc.), who your team members are, and your team's captain's contact info.
8.) Fish will be weighed one time.
9.)Any tie breakers will result in a game of Cee-Lo (dice). Best 3 out of 5
10.)Rules may be altered at any time leading up to the tournament by the Tournament Chair but no later than 8PM on the eve of the tournament
11.) Any individual born above the Mason Dixon Line AKA a Yankee must pay $10 extra for any pot as a Carpetbagging Fee. And this individual must pay allegiance to Dixie. This is on the Honor Code (if Yankees have honor). Any Yankee caught disrespecting these rules will be immediately disqualified, tarred and feathered, and thrown into the Tailrace Canal.
11.)Be respectful of the Gilligans property and facilities.
Main competition rules:
Team with the heaviest 10 shad wins the main event's pot
Side pot rules:
Individual with the heaviest single shad wins the whole side pot
