During the centuries that Britain colonized India, the children born to British and Indians began to form a new community known to this day as Anglo Indians.
This is a fusion cuisine born of colonialism and new families in a new world.

kedgeree: rice, moong dal, smoked fish
dessert:
steamed pudding: golden syrup, ginger, brandy
