FEATURING REBECCA KLEINMANN:
In celebration of her latest release Intuição Verdadeira recorded in 6 studios from Brazil to Berkeley CA, acclaimed Bay Area flutist REBECCA KLEINMANN returns by popular demand to San Diego's Brasil Jazz Festa, bringing her trio featuring Brazilian guitarist RAFAEL and bassist SCOTT THOMPSON.
Also featured this year are award winning DANNY GREEN TRIO including composer/pianist DANNY GREEN, JUSTIN GRINNELL bass, and JULIEN CANTELM drums, as well as Festa producer and vocalist ALLISON ADAMS TUCKER who will tribute works from Stan Getz and João Gilberto, and the legendary album "Getz/Gilberto" resulting in the international explosion of the Bossa Nova movement of the 1960s. Allison's set will feature the DANNY GREEN TRIO and tenor saxophonist JOHN REKEVICS.
