Provincetown Cares 2013 Play selection
"5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche", by Evan Linder and Andrew Hobgood has been selected as the 2013 Provincetown Cares production directed by Lynn d'Angona and starring Kelly McAndrew,Maureen Keiller, Georgia Lyman, Hannah Yelland, Heather Matarazzo and Darlene VanAlystyne.
Set in the thick of 1956 McCarthyism, the play opens at the local community center where five women preside over their members gathered for their annual quiche breakfast in honor of the Susan B. Innuendos, suppressed sexual feelings, shocking revelations and political humor abound as the women compete for best quiche, and cope with an unexpected agenda item: the dropping of an atom bomb on their fair city.
