Booklore is a new occasional series from Botanical Dimensions. For each episode, Kathleen Harrison will sift through the book treasures we have at the Ethnobotany Library, choosing good stories and fine writing on a selected theme. She will read aloud and weave together various cultures' views on a topic.
In this edition, Kathleen has curated a collection of tales gathered from much time spent in Mexico, especially with Mazatec and mestizo people in the southern state of Oaxaca. Come join us at the Library to listen to good stories and wonder together.
