I Dream of Jackie!
"Jackies whirlwind adventure is a cohesive camp cabaret that leaves you wanting more!"  TheaterInTheNow.com

"I Dream of Jackie is an emotional roller coaster loaded up with belly laughs!"  Werrrk.com

Making her Los Angeles headlining debut, drag star JACKIE COX returns to the Cavern Club Theater with I DREAM OF JACKIE!, directed and choreographed by Blake McIver.  Celebrating her own Middle Eastern heritage, with a healthy dose of tongue-planted-firmly-in-cheek, it will be presented for two nights only- Friday March 29th, and Saturday March 30th at 8pm

I DREAM OF JACKIE! is a fantastical tale straight from the Arabian Nights with JACKIE COX starring as a magical Genie let loose in the modern world after being trapped in her bottle for nearly 100 years! Armed with only three wishes and a song in her heart, Jackie navigates the world of Millennials through her signature blend of musical theater and hit pop songs, dancing, and outrageous comedy. Plus, she's brought handsome Harem Boys along for the ride. Its just what you wished for!

JACKIE COX burst onto the NYC drag scene in 2010 as 1st Runner-Up in the 1st season of the long running New World Stages "So You Think You Can Drag?" competition. Since then she has headlined her own shows off-Broadway in NYC ("Just Jackie!" at New World Stages) and beyond ("Make America Gay Again1" at the Cavern Club Theater, "Jackie Cox: I had it in me!" at the Theatre Out in Orange County, CA). She has also appeared in shows at the famed Laurie Beechman Theater (I Dream of Jackie", "Hell's Kitchenettes"), and The Crown & Anchor of Provincetown ("Gypsies"). Recently, Jackie appeared on TV in ABC's "What Would You Do?" alongside Rupaul's Drag Race star Monét X Change, in Fusion's "Shade: Queens of NYC", and numerous appearances on Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live", winning the title of "Real Queen of Beverly Hills" for her impersonation of TV personality and Depends undergarment spokeswoman, Lisa Rinna. @jackiecoxnyc
