Barclay College performs Disney's Beauty and the Beast
Barclay College will present Disney's Beauty and the Beast April 12-14 in the Ross-Ellis Center for Arts and Ministry on the campus in Haviland, Kansas.
"Step into the enchanted world of Broadway's modern classic, Disney's Beauty and the Beast, an international sensation that played a remarkable 13-year run on Broadway and has been produced in 37 countries worldwide. Based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature, the stage version includes all of the wonderful songs written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice. The original Broadway production ran for over thirteen years and was nominated for nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical." (Music Theatre International)
Randi Shetley of Branson, Missouri, will direct the musical at Barclay College. She directed last years highly successful production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and brings years of experience in the theatrical world. The creative team also includes vocal direction by Jared Ross, choreography by Traci Ballard, and technical direction by Casey Roberts. Lighting Design will once again be by Marki Sulzbach (Atlanta, GA), a Barclay graduate who has worked professionally around the nation including Universal Studios, Orlando and Sight and Sound Theatres in both Strasberg, Pennsylvania and Branson, Missouri. Set design is by Shane Shetley who also has extensive professional theatrical experience.
The cast includes both Barclay students and local community members. They will bring the familiar fantasy story to life, with authentic costumes, beautiful music, dazzling lighting and just a bit of theatrical magic.

Hi Casey - Linda Snyder-Patterson here. I thought I could choose my own tickets. I need a handicap seat for my Dad and would love a Center section with an aisle seat. I have one of my counseling clients with social anxiety disorder and needs an aisle seat. Her Mom and a friend are coming. So if there are 3 seats at an inside aisle that would be great. The other 4 tkts in Center Section together would be great. Daddy can transfer to an aisle seat so that would work too. Three in front four behind would work great. |

You can choose your own seats. As long as youre not in the mobile site, you can select your seat. If you cant access a computer, then on your phone, on the main ticket page, scroll all the way to the bottom of the screen and click on the Standard Site link. Then, when you are ordering your tickets, click the box that says let me choose my own seats |
