Join us on February 13th for a panel discussion on water management in the Permian Basin with several industry professionals. This fast paced panel discussion will touch on several aspects of water management including the following: re-use & recycle, disposal bottlenecks & produced water logistics solutions, solids handling, Regulatory challenges etc.
Below are the panelists:
Christopher (Topher) Small, Senior Operations Engineer, Pioneer Water Management Topher Small is a Water Management Operations Engineer in the Permian Basin with Pioneer Water Management, LLC. He is a graduate of the University of Tulsa with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a graduate of the University of Texas at the Permian Basin with a Masters degree in Business and Administration.
Georgi Watson, Quality Operations Support Manager, Schlumberger Ms. Watson obtained a Bachelor's degree in Science from Middle Tennessee State University. She spent 12+ years in the specialty chemical industry with GE Water and Process Technologies (now Suez) where she won a Presidents Award for sales excellence as well as several technical awards for aiding clients in improving their water treatment processes. She spent four years in the industrial cleaning world learning the operations side of the house with clients such as TVA and International Paper. As the Technical Operations Support Manager with Schlumberger, Ms. Watson is providing produced water treatment expertise on a global basis both onshore and offshore. Jose Ortega, Vice President, Terra Midstream Jose Ortega is certified in Finance & Entrepreneurship by Harvard Business School (HBX) and has pioneered groundbreaking projects in the oil and gas industry all over the world. After playing an integral role in several projects overseas, he returned home to the Permian basin to spearhead unconventional exploration projects with ConocoPhillips. Mr. Ortega oversaw many of their operations working as a Completions Consultant and Engineer. During this time he also served as Chief Operating Officer for Midland Basin Partners. Along with his expertise comes a heart for childrens education. Mr. Ortega volunteers at local schools in West Texas, advocating independence and higher education for underprivileged children.
