50th Anniversary Special, "Saturday Night Fever: Hits of the 1970s Concert"
The Greece Performing Arts Society will present their 50th Anniversary Special, "Saturday Night Fever: Hits of the 1970s Concert" on Saturday, April 27, 2019. This gala performance will showcase four GPAS ensembles, including the Greece Choral Society directed by Dr. Rollo Fisher, the Greece Community Orchestra directed by Jonathan Allentoff, the Greece Concert Band directed by BJ Comer, and the Greece Jazz Band directed by Gary Samulski. Special guests, including noted Rochester vocalist Michael DeLuca, will also appear on stage throughout the evening. The program features disco favorites, popular songs, and musical selections from stage and screen, including tunes such as Stayin' Alive, Y. M. C. A., Let's Groove, The Reaper, Can't Smile Without You, and Bless the Beasts and the Children.
