**ONLINE SALES ARE CLOSED, BUT TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE EVENT**
Holi is a Hindu festival celebrating spring, love and connection, and the triumph of good over evil.
Come join in this raucous celebration, where people will chase each other around, throwing handfuls of colored powders. Folks from all religions, cultural backgrounds, and ages are welcome.
With each ticket you get two color packets, with the opportunity to buy more on site. Food from the Roll Pod and chai from the Chai Lady will be available for purchase.
Shruti Balakrishnan will share her wonderful singing and Afsaana Dance will perform and teach a short dance lesson.
*** The fine print: This is a messy celebration! Wear something comfortable that you are willing to stain.
If you want an event souvenir, wear a white t-shirt. Colors are cornstarch based and safe natural colors. They can be (mostly) dusted off.
No water will be available at the event for wash up, but soap and water at home can finish your clean up. We recommend applying a moisturizer to skin and coating your hair with a small amount of coconut or olive oil before the event, and bringing something to protect your car to go home.
**** This event was spearheaded by a neighbor who wanted to share her culture with the community. ***
