Crimes of the Heart
For its first show of 2019, the Costa Mesa Playhouse presents Beth Henleys play, Crimes of the Heart, winner of the 1981 Pulitzer Prize and New York Drama Critics Circle Award. When the eccentric, dysfunctional Magrath sisters reunite during a family crisis, resentments, sexual transgressions, and the entire Southern gothic tradition unite to serve up a dramatic confection that is at once touching, irreverent and deliriously funny.
Crimes of the Heart is directed by Madison Wackerman and stars Stephanie Noel Garrison, Silvana Gargione, Cindy Cisneros, Alexandria Churchwell, Mark Tillman, and Joseph Daniels.
