The Producers by Mel Brooks
The Producers is a musical adapted by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan from Brooks's 1967 film of the same name, with lyrics written by Brooks and music composed by Brooks and arranged by Glen Kelly and Doug Besterman. It's the story of down and out producer Max Bialystock, once known as the 'King of Broadway' who can't believe his incredible streak of bad luck.
Mel Brooks, the comic genius of the late twentieth century, comes off great with this production of his classic musical. Max is a wonderful and wacky producer who rescues Leo Bloom from a life of accounting boredom and makes him his understudy to produce a Musical flop.
This is the first time The Producers has been done in Flagstaff!
This Musical is rated PG-13 with adult content.
