We're delighted to launch the first in a series of family style dinners from the kitchen of East Durham Bake Shop. We're looking forward to collaborating with friends from Durham and beyond to show off some of our favorite seasonal produce and local vendors in new and creative ways in an intimate, multi-course dinner setting.
This month we'll be colla borating with Cam Davis of the forthcoming LouElla Wine, Beer and Beverage and Hutchin's Garage, and James Naquin, the head Maltster at Epiphany Craft Malt.
For Cam Davis, LouElla Wine, Beer, and Beverage, is the culmination of more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality and beverage industry. Cam has successfully managed some of Durhams finest locally and nationally recognized establishments, including Hutchin's Garage, Guglhupf, Rue Cler, and Durham Catering Company. He brings a wealth of wine and beverage knowledge, not only from his extensive restaurant experience, but also from his tenure as Durham/Chapel Hill area Sales Manager for wine distributor Bordeaux, Fine and Rare.
In addition to being head Maltster at East Durham's Epiphany Craft Malt, James has over 16 years experience as a chef. He still caters and dabbles in charcuterie in his spare time, and we're delighted to have him as a part of our dinner series.
