The Gag Ball #3
CATEGORY IS....
DRAG. STAND UP. IMPROV.
In the tradition of "Paris is Burning" this is a drag ball with a comic spin! The categories are: drag, stand-up comedy and improv. Talented improvisers, comedians and drag performers will compete to be the best in their category - and claim "10s, 10s, 10s across the board" from the judges (you, the audience members)!

Hosted and produced by drag comic queen Hillary Ooos, this is an LGBT2QIAA+ safe space making room for queer comedians! Bringing the worlds of drag and comedy together in a very real way. Winners receive a cut of the door sales.

This time, taking place at the THE SOCIAL CAPITOL THEATRE! (One of Toronto's most influential improv and comedy bastions)
FYI - This is a licensed venue. The bar WILL be open!

To apply to be a competitors for future Gag Ball Realness, get in touch with me oooshillary@gmail.com or message me directly on facebook :)

Definitions:
Drag means a drag act/lipsynch/gender-bending performance
Stand up means you making comedy with a microphone
Improv will be shortform games

Judges will be picked from the audience. They will give scores to acts out of 10. Ties will be broken by dance off. (Does this mean favoritism if you bring lots of friends? Maybe, it depends on if your friends like you)

Prize is a cut of the door.

Tips are encouraged and will go towards the door cut. There will be an on-stage bucket.
