AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS
WINTER 2019 SESSION
6 WEEKS
$50/CLUB
*Please send in a change in dismissal form every time that your child stays after school for a club.*
Cooking with Kids: PK-1 Mrs. Rossi
Students will listen to a story and create a snack to go with it each week. They will also create a cookbook to take home at the end of the session.
Wednesdays (2:45-3:45):
1/30, 2/6, 2/13, 2/27, 3/6, & 3/13
Full STEAM Ahead: PK-1 Mrs. Pagano
Students will engage in hands-on activities with an emphasis on STEAM: science, technology, engineering, art and math. Participants will create robots with Cubelets, construct with KNex and other materials, create cool art projects, solve fun math challenges and more.
Thursdays (2:45-3:45):
1/31, 2/7, 2/14, 2/28, 3/7, & 3/14
Game Club: PK-2 Mrs. Keegan
Students will learn social skills, good sportsmanship, and strategic thinking as they play interactive games. The students will make a "Passport" of different games played and will create their own puzzle to take home at the completion of the session.

Art Club: 3-6 Mrs. Rahner
Students will create art projects using a variety of art supplies and techniques. Some projects will become part of community art contests/art exhibits.
Mondays (2:45-4:00):
1/28, 2/4, 2/11, 2/25, 3/4, & 3/11
Craft Club: 5-8 Mrs. Daly & Mrs. Messina
Students will complete a seasonal craft each week, relating to upcoming holidays if applicable, that they will take home at the end of each session.
Tuesdays (2:45-4:00):
1/29, 2/5, 2/12, 2/26, 3/5, 3/12
Debate Club: 6-8 Mrs. Daly
Students will prepare and debate different topics relevant to present day issues in the world today.
Thursdays (2:45-4:00):
1/31, 2/7, 2/14, 2/28, 3/7, & 3/14
Photography Club: 7-8 Mr. Ishmail
To foster creativity and improve students' technical skills in photography . Students will create a portfolio of their work showcasing the various aspects of photography.

Accepted payments: Cash, check made out to HARS, or online payment via Brown Paper tickets (we are trying this as a new & convenient way to accept payment, a small fee will be applied)
*All Clubs require a minimum number of students to run. There is also a maximum number of students who will be accepted, and clubs will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. When the registration process is complete, you will receive confirmation of which club(s) your child is registered for.
