PROGRAM FOR THE EVENING
The weather outside is frightful but the wine is so delightful. Come celebrate 2019 with us!
For our fist program of the new year we will have Coco and Karl Umiker from Clearwater Canyon Cellars located in the Lewis Clark Valley. Education has paved the way for their success. Karl has an undergraduate degree in Chemistry and a Masters degree in Soils (University of Idaho) Coco earned her undergraduate degrees in Microbiology, Molecular Biology and Biochemistry (University of Idaho) and a PhD. in Food Service (WSU). Their education allows them to truly understand grape growing and wine making.
Many of you may remember Coco and Karl from a previous visit to our club. Two years ago, they attended our Winery Walkabout program. That was shortly after they were very instrumental is helping to establish Idahos most recent AVA (Lewis-Clark). Their program was so energized and informing we just had to invite them back for a full program. We will be pouring four of their highly award-winning red wines, including a recent double platinum winner. They wines have become so popular they are currently sold out of their whites. We will be pouring a white from one of their very close neighbors Colters Creek. Come help ring in the new year with Clearwater Canyon Cellars.
