June 20, 2013 - How the Development Plan Drives your Success- or not! (Breakfast)
Presenter: Annie Fritschner, ACFRE
Annie coaches all types and sizes of not-for-profits on their capital, endowment and annual fund needs, as well as volunteer and staff structures required to sustain success. Annie has almost 35 years of experience in the non-profit arena. Having worked with all forms, types and sizes of not-for-profits, she has specialized in what makes a great NGO great, and what holds others back from achieving greatness.
She has been an instructor at the Duke University Center for Non-Profit Management, for the past ten years. Annie is one of fewer than 100 Advanced Certified Fundraising Executives throughout the world and has been a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals since 1986. Annie is a certified Master Trainer through the AFP Training Academy and the winner of the 2007 Outstanding Fund Raising Executive Award from the AFP WNC chapter.
Annie's first book, How to Start and Run a Nonprofit, was published by Barnes and Noble in 2006 and sold out in 2007. She has co-written a book entitled Daily Practices for God's People, helping individuals learn how to engage more deeply with God. In November 2002, Ann was ordained as a Deacon in the Episcopal Church.
