Come join us for a night of laughs in support of the greatest creative high school in NYC, Art & Design! MC'd by Nanci Richards, prepare to split your sides for a good cause with the talented Carmen Lynch, Tino Romero, and Aric Grooms!

All ticket holders at the show are automatically entered into a raffle for an Apple Computer!

Nanci Richards
Raised amid endless rows of nail salons, bagel stores, and one big famous dump, Nanci Richards reeks of Staten Island, the forgotten borough of the Guidos, Guidettes and her nerve-wracking family

"My mother's always trying to fix me up" says Nanci, she's like, "What's wrong with Jimmy next door?" I'm like, "Ma, Jimmys in jail for manslaughter." Shes like, "Yeah, but he didn't mean it."

Add to this Nanci's vocation as a New York City public school teacher and her stories will make you lose your tenure.

Carmen Lynch
Carmen Lynch is based in NYC and has been featured on a string of late night shows including The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Conan, and The Late Show with David Letterman. Carmen has traveled extensively performing for the troops in Iraq and Kuwait and as well as in Spanish-speaking countries doing standup in Spanish. Her comedy album "Dance Like You Don't Need the Money" was reviewed by The New York Times as "one of five to stream" and was voted the #1 comedy album in 2017 by SiriusXM. Tino Romero
Esteban "Tino" Romero is a diverse man who speaks his mind. Born in Panama, he came to the United States as a teen in search of fame and fortune.

This comedian, actor, improvist, and MC, is a veteran in the industry crafting his talents since his arrival. He brings a different flavor, the Latin spice, you need to complete any meal.

Hilarious in both English, and his native of Spanish, he draws audiences with his unique vibe & animated characters.

He performs all over the tri-state area & many comedy venues throughout New York City.

Aric Grooms
While he now calls New York City home, Aric will always be a Southern Ohio Boy (S.O.B.) at heart! This shines through on stage as he weaves tales of his simple beginnings into the day to day rat race that is NYC.

Trained as an Evangelical Minister and married to a Jewish clergywoman, Aric has lots to say about religion and family! His years of ups and downs with relationships and congregations, not to mention raising four energetic, independent children, provides an endless supply of entertaining tales!

Aric is co-founder and co-host of NYC and nationally touring Very Good Comedy Show! This show features some of the top acts in comedy and music and can be seen in various NYC venues and across the country!

Art & Design High School
Celebrating it's 81st year, A&D has been an educational fixture in NYC and helped thousands of students become professionals in comics, graphic design, illustration, fashion, photography, film, animation, and architecture. Notable alumni include Tony Bennett, Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Art Spiegelman, Neal Adams, and Steven Meisel.

Art & Design High School PTA
As a public school, Art and Design serves many students who live in underserved communities. In addition to the typical expenses any student would have, Art and Design students also need professional grade art supplies and materials as well as opportunities for college exploration and career development that is unique in comparison to other schools. The PTA helps fund these critical needs and more for the students and school, which is why we created the Winter Comedy Jam!
