Drop of Blood
Friendship can be thicker than blood and stronger than family. Lifelong friends, Regan and Mandy, face the ultimate tests as they attempt to come to terms with the notions of mortality, stigmatized disease, and strained family relations. Mandy, bonded by a lifetime of friendship, is left to watch helplessly as Regan struggles with her failing health, losing her battle with life. Regan must find a way to say goodbye to those she cares about the most, refusing to let Mandy put her life and personal relationships on hold. Janis, Regans estranged mother, must not only face her daughter, but also her fear of the surrounding circumstances and the impending loss of her child. Each person struggles with what is going on and what becomes of those left behind to grieve. Sometimes all it takes is a drop of blood sometimes less.
