Join us for the second annual Jubilee Gala hosted by The Dance Project! It will be an evening to remember filled with spectacular performers. We are honored to welcome local drag queens Scarlett Kiss, Cheeki Khant, and Sabel Scities who will be performing with TDP to some exciting songs by artists like Madonna and Lady Gaga. In addition, there will be local vendors selling artwork including, paintings, pottery, temporary tattoos & jewelry.

Performing for the first time at Jubilee is The Q Project which is an exciting new dance company by internationally renowned dancer and choreographer Quinton Weathers. Quinton has danced professionally in commercial projects such as iTunes ads and the movie Dream Girls. His choreography is appreciated world-wide for his unique style and he has been hired by prestigious theatres such as Georgetown Palace Theatre.  Each of his dancers was hand-picked by Quinton for their unique style and personality.  The past 2 years, Quinton has been journaling about his life experiences and decided to bring some of these memories to life.

The Dance Project started this event to promote the different forms of art in Austin and offer a fun-filled show that promotes the city's talent and creativity. The language of the dance demonstrates national traditions and customs, is an expression of freedom and inspiration. Jubilee has become a meaningful and important event for all its participants, primarily because it gives performers the opportunity to test their abilities and grow as an artist.
