Children's Open Level Sean-Nós
Explore the basics of sean-nós dancing, one of the old styles of dance from the west of Ireland. Sean-nós dancing is percussive dance with footwork danced close to the floor. Improvisation, musicality, and rhythmic combos are paired with a combination of historical lineage and individual style.
Open level classes are designed to explore basic techniques, footwork, and concepts for beginners, and expand on concepts of dynamic, variation, and improvisation for more advanced dancers.
