Feast: a Yoruba Project & Brave
Studio Theatre Company is happy to be presenting our second Fall production. "Feast: a Yoruba Project" and "Brave", directed by Tia Ade and Kala Ross respectively, are being presented as a showcase of graduate talent at the University of Louisville.
"Feast: a Yoruba Project" is a show based on Yoruba mythology where the lives of three sisters are forever changed when they meet a powerful trickster on the way to a family feast.
"Brave" tells the story of a college dancer, who uses her art to share the truth of her rather difficult journey.
"Excerpts from Black 'n Blue Boys/Broken Men" a performance piece by Tyler Tate.
Show Times Thursday, 11/29, 7:30pm Friday, 11/30, 7:30pm Saturday, 12/1, 7:30pm Sunday, 12/2, 3:00pm (Brave and Black 'n Blue); 7:30pm (Feast)
All shows will be performed at the Thrust Theatre at 2314 S. Floyd St.
