The Burlesque Hall of Fame presents NAKED GIRLS READING, a live nude literary salon. Join burlesque superstar and 2005 Miss Exotic World Michelle L'amour; burlesque performer, photographer, and model Bettina May; and burlesque performer, model, and BHoF collection assistant Darby Fox as they read from Leslie Zemeckis' latest work, "Feuding Fan Dancers: Faith Bacon, Sally Rand, and the Golden Age of the Showgirl".

Leslie Zemeckis is author of "Goddess of Love Incarnate: The Life of Stripteuse Lili St. Cyr" and "Behind the Burly Q", the definitive history of burlesque. She wrote, produced, and directed the critically acclaimed documentary based on "Behind the Burly Q", which has been championed by "USA Today" and "The New Yorker".

Zemeckis continues to discover the forgotten feminist
histories of the golden age of entertainment, turning her sights
on the lost stories of Sally Rand and Faith Baconicons who each
claimed to be the inventor of the notorious fan dance. Naked Girls Reading is proud to partner with BHoF to present excerpts from this compelling story of two brave women from another era.
