LGBTQLoL
Edition 3 of LGBTQLol is here! We are bringing a slew of comics to Indianapolis from one of the best queer comedy scenes there is, Columbus!
There will be great comedy and even a photo booth! All of the money from the photo booth will go towards Indiana Youth Group (IYG). The show will be at State Street Pub, one of the best venues in Indianapolis. Tickets will be 5$ advanced and 7$ at the door. 100% of the ticket money goes to paying the queer comics on the show. Doors will be at 7 and show at 9. We are doing doors very early so that everyone can get pictures at the photobooth, we won't be doing it for long after the show. Hosting the show will be Indy's own Jenna Bradley!
The show will feature Angie Healey, Bianca Spunky Moore, and Olivia Smith of Columbus.
There will be guest spots by Zachary Burcar of Detroit and Katlin McFee of Boston/Indianapolis.
And our headliner will be Brooke Cartus!
Brooke Cartus is a comedian, emcee, activist and attorney based in Columbus, Ohio. Her second album, I Have Straight Friends & Other Confessions, debuted at #1 on iTunes in April 2018. Brookes sardonic storytelling and improvisational style has helped her land shows with Colin Quinn, Fortune Feimster, Erin Foley, Ian Harvie, Rhea Butcher and Dana Goldberg. She has performed at TedXColumbusWomen and has headlined the Out of Bounds Comedy Festival in 2018. She has been featured in the Limestone Comedy Festival, Arch City Comedy Festival, Whiskey Bear Comedy Festival, and Out of Bounds Comedy Festival in 2017. Her blog Size L for Lady has been featured on Huff Post: Gay Voices.
Brooke has emceed benefits for the Human Rights Campaign, the Mid-Ohio Food Bank, Planned Parenthood, The You Will Rise Project, Stonewall Columbus, and many more non-profit organizations. She has interviewed NFLers Chris Kluwe and Wade Davis about LGBTQ bullying in sports.
